welcome to Hogwarts.
The year is 1998, a year after the Battle of Hogwarts; the battle that ended to war that had been raging for decades. Harry Potter and the Light Side came out on top, and has had to endure the fame and forture of being a hero for a whole year. His salvation came in the most unlikely place; Headmistress McGonagall offered all the reamining students the opportunity to come back and do their year/s at Hogwarts they missed. The Golden Trio jumped at the chance; finally, a way of getting back to normality. Or will it be just as worse in school, where everyone knows your name? It's just a case of 'you'll have to wait and see', because it's September 1st and all the students are on their way to Hogwarts again.
It's just like old times. Harry, Ron, Hermione and co are in their seventh year; Ginny and Luna are repeating their disasterous sixth year. Everyone who survived the battle is back, including Draco Malfoy, plus his henchmen, Gregory Goyle, Blaise Zambini (promoted after Vincent Crabbe's death) and Pansy Parkinson; although both Harry and Draco were part of the battle, the old rivarly is soon reignited; it's welcome, though, as it's all again back to normal, like the last eyar never happened. The only difference now, is that Harry is free.
A lot happened over the last year. There's a new potions teacher after Snape's death; the Weasleys are slowly but surely recovering after Fred's demise; and Colin's camera is being missed more than ever; and Ron and Hermione finally snogged. So, everything's changing around Hogwarts, ish. Ron and Hermione are in fact now dating, thank god - hopefully no more bickering from the two of them, then. If only that were true; they still bicker, but the making-up session afterwards are worse to watch than the bickering.
There's also the problem of Harry and Ginny to sort. Harry loves Ginny; Ginny loves Harry. Simple enough, but both of them don't know how to approach the other. Harry thinks Ginny's still grieving for her brother, and plus is still mad at him for not letting her go with him on the hunt; on the other hand, Ginny thinks that Harry's brooding far too much over the war, and is having second thoughts about dating Ginny. They still talk, although whenever anyone asks, they say they are 'good friends' - everyone knows they should be togther, it's just a case of them seeing it too. They will eventually; it's only a matter of time.
Hogwarts is changing, but for the better. It's all normal for the trio, and it's welcome. Harry's stressing about Ginny; Ron's stressing about his stomach; Hermione's stressing about NEWTs. So come along and join in the fun, and if you're lucky, you'll get to hear, and maybe even speak;
